Why is there no AUNetSend in iOS? (Or any alternative suggestions)

I just tried AUNetSend and AUNetReceive on two Mac computers using a garage. The delay was exceptionally low! However, I am very disappointed that AUNetSend is not available on iOS. I am trying to transfer audio from an iOS device to a destination application on my Mac. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions on this? Here is what I am trying to do essentially. It should have a very low latency, so GKVoiceChat will not work.

audio + midi can be routed from iPad and via iPad via PC to PC / MAC, thanks to iConnectMIDI + devices
