Sign in to Google+ - stop asking people youโ€™re connected to

Is there a way to prevent Google+ Sign In In from asking for a list of people you're connected to on Google+?

My goal is to use the G + sign for authentication purposes today, and in the future also use it for use on social networks. As the owner / operator of a service requesting a sign, I donโ€™t care who is in the circles of users.

Is it possible to delete a request for all people the user is associated with? Am I missing something with this? For example, if I did not ask all the users connected to the user, could the user no longer share them?

I am aware of the Google OpenId login functionality, but it does not provide the features that I would like to receive in the future.

When you use the Google+ login button, the plus.login area is added. Thus, he will ask for "know who you are on Google+" and "List of people with whom you are connected." A few comments about this:

  • The user has control over the people they share with you, so if they do not want to share this information, they are under their control.

  • If you are interested in information in the future - using existing connections, people have a great way to improve your site - access will be available to you.

If you still feel that you can simply request a user profile, add an asterisk / function here:

The more information about why you want to do this, and the clearer the explanation of your request, the better!
