I have sql server 2008 r2, I want to put my stored procedures in packages, I search on the Internet, I see that I need to install a data tool from Microsoft for this. but this tool needs to be installed by SSIS in SQL SERVER 2008 R2, how do I know if I have it? thanks u

You can go to SQL Server Configuration Manager (this is usually available from the Start menu> SQL Server 2008 R2). After starting, you have access to all available services. If Sql Server Integration Services 10.0 exists, you can right-click it and start it if it is not already running. Otherwise, you will need to go to the installation center and add this service.

SSIS is not available in the Sql Server release. For example, it is not available in Express. You can check your edition for the following query :

SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('productversion'), SERVERPROPERTY ('productlevel'), SERVERPROPERTY ('edition')
