Phonegap iOS volume control

iPhone has 2 options for volumecontrol:

  • Device / Application Sound
  • Sound media player

By default, device sound is used. When you press the volume control, the sound of the device will decrease. But when you play music, the sound will change in the sound of the media player.

How can I change the default volumecontrol in PhoneGap, so when you press volumedown or up, the music volume changes, not the device volume.

I am not sure if this is possible. As I thought it was controlled by the OS?

You can change the level of sounds played through the telephone program, albeit programmatically. Therefore, if you can create several buttons in your application, you can customize it.
