Where do I see the cause of the internal server error when running the Rails request specifications?

I have an "Internal Server Error" in one of my query specifications (RSpec2 and Capybara), and I just don't know where to get more information about this. I looked at test.log, but there is no specific information about the problem, there is information about Rails displaying a 500 message.

Is this normal behavior? Where can I find more information? Somewhere, Rails should tell me what happened, right?

This is unfortunately normal behavior. However, the good news is that many people seem to have found some workarounds. See: Get rails exceptions to show the use of capybara and selenium
