I am developing an Android OS application for recognizing a handwritten isolated Arabic character using Tesseract OCR. I tried this, but in some cases, Tesseract cannot recognize a handwritten isolated Arabic character with an associated character, so I want to ask:
1. Is there any character recognizer that can make my application more accurate to recognize connected characters?
2.I heard about Leptonica as a lib for image processing in Tesseract, is this enough to increase the accuracy of recognition of Arabic in Tesseract? Or is there a lib for image processing that can make the recognition process more accurate?
