What is the use of GOOGLE_INPUT_CHEXT_FLAG in the Google Chrome Web Inspector?

Now, when I see that before the end of the </body> , the following appears:

 <div id="GOOGLE_INPUT_CHEXT_FLAG" style="display: none;" input="" input_stat="{}"></div>

I can see this on all web pages when I try to Check an item in Google Chrome .

Does anyone know about this?

Why is this?

What is its use?

Could this be harmful to my data or computer?

I have a point. Its because of the extension: Google input tools (from Google) .

But I'm not sure why they use this marking.
