Maximum Concurrent Connections Using WebAPI Web Hosting Service - Windows 7

Question

I have a Windows service that I wrote that uses the SelfHost function for WebAPI.

I was interested to know how many concurrent connections a service can serve if they are installed on a computer running Windows 7 (Enterprise Edition)

From the information I can find, when IIS starts on Windows 7, the maximum number of connections is 20.

Windows operating systems for Windows are not viable as service nodes, because Microsoft places strict limits on the number of connections that they can accept. This is true in all versions of Windows 7 and 8.
