Where can I find a complete hello world example for developing XBMC add-ons?

I would like to start exploring the development of the xmbc plugin.

I read the official documents, but I ask you if there is any resource, step by step step by step in a welcome example.

I google a very long time yesterday and today, but I can’t get a complete picture of the development process.

I am looking for detailed information about:

  • Structure
  • creating the simplest GUI for the world of hi (no warning, windows)
  • explanation code
  • zip creation
  • installation through the repository
  • ...

The best resources that I can pay attention to are: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on_development

It provides a lot of information that should be good for your first steps.

And, of course, the forum is a goog site for collecting information: http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=26

I am from the Kodi / XBMC team and have just updated the Hello World tutorial on our wiki:

http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:HelloWorld_addon

His work continues, but I hope it should be a good starting point for everyone who writes the add-in.

We have other lessons on our developers homepage:
