How to determine the view source schema in Chrome Extension

I want to run a script content when viewing the source of any webpage. (and the page action icon will appear)

docs here do not mention the source of the view as a valid schema.

Is there any way to limit this restriction?

You cannot embed script content in view-source: pages.
