Someone posted to Tomcat Console

Question

I have an application deployed on Tomcat 7, and this morning I noticed two messages on the Tomcat console:

• Did you see me in the stderr window?
• Did you see me in a browser window?

Someone was able to delete these messages remotely. Should I worry? Has someone hacked my site?

This is created by jsp example (webapps / examples / jsp / foo.jsp) with the following lines:

<eg:log> Did you see me on the stderr window? </eg:log>

This seems to be Tomcat's standard output.
