The university I work with uses the Tomcat / Railo server to display ColdFusion pages. For about 6 months (before I was hired), the servers were randomly broken at different times, usually runnign service railo_ctl restart has a fixed hte problem, but recently it also does not work.
Over the past two weeks I have narrowed down the problem, and I'm sure Tomcat is where the problem comes from. I have never used Tomcat, so I'm not sure where to start. I looked at the Catalina.out files and looked at the time when the servers crashed and found this error message:

I also noticed that this error occurred, but it does not seem to appear at the same time as the server breakdown.
