Reputation System for Rails

I am on Rails 4 and was looking for a Reputation System Gem similar to a system.

Popularity seems Merit and Twitter Active reputation system .

But I don’t know what to choose, it seems that there is a larger community in the Twitter active reputation system (since I'm pretty new to rails), this would help me a lot. But I could be wrong too.

I also found The Twitter Active Reputation System for Rails 4 , but from another user

As I scooped up 2 Gem, I did not quite understand what looks more like a reputation system.

If someone could enlighten me on these 2 Gem, for which I need a user for this purpose, I would be very grateful :)

From the documentation of the Active Reputation System :

Say we want to track user karma in Q & Karma is the sum of a survey of skills and responses to a skill. questioning skill is the sum of votes for user questions, and the skill of the answer is the sum of the average rating of user responses.

It looks as if it accurately describes your case. I would go with this and probably use the dignity stone to have the badges at some point for the user.

Merit tracks user karma in the form of dots , as well as à la StackOverflow icons . It also has a ranking concept that would be useful, for example, for a "starred-restaurant".

It is similar to SO, and I can not help with the reason for the comparison, I have not yet used the Twitter active reputation system.
