Creating an instance of ReportDocument for Windows 7

When I try to create an instance of ReportDocument, my application shuts down - even if it is terminated in a try / catch block. This only happens on Windows 7 machines (this can happen with Vista - I did not test it there). XP machines don't have a problem at all.

try
{
    ReportDocument doc = new ReportDocument(); // This cause the app to crash
}
catch (Exception ex)
{        
    Console.WriteLine(ex.ToString()); // This never executes
}

The specific link to the dll is CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine version 11.5.3700.0

Any ideas?
