I have a deployed web application on my local IIS (7.0) and it works fine. Since it is on my local, it is available via http: // <> /webapp/index.aspx. Now I'm trying to access it at a special URL, i.e. http://www.someuniqueweburl.com , and make sure that it does not exist on the Internet and, of course, you can only access it if you are on the same network as the local IIS web server. Is it possible?
Thanks a bunch!
For this you need some kind of DNS service.
You can:
DNS DNS- , . sample.custom.url.com IP-.
% windir%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts:
127.0.0.1 sample.custom.url.com
, sample.custom.url.com. ( IP- , 127.0.0.1)
- Microsoft: - (IIS 7)
