Home screen cookies on ios7

I have a website where my users “add to the home screen” iPads there. Since ios7 came out, I can’t erase the cookie data for this site from the device (not software). clearing cookies in safari does not affect it. Event if I delete the icon on the main screen and add it again. the session still exists. Any ideas on how to erase cookies in this case?

I believe this is an important issue that could have security implications.

Obviously, ios saves user data even if the add tab to the main screen is removed from ios.

I just tried in the old version of ios (5.01 on ipad 1) and at least I can confirm that in this version deleting cookies in safari also removes them from the bookmarks of the initial screen.
