Lego Mindstorm NXT 2.0: "Error: Bluetooth NXT dongle confirmation failed"

Question

Launch of Windows 7 and Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 IDE. Windows bluetooth manager shows that NXT is connected and NXT appears in the list of Windows Bluetooth devices. However, when I try to connect to the Lego IDE, I get a message that says: "Error: NXT Bluetooth key confirmation confirmation failed."

I entered the pairing key on NXT and on Windows without any problems. The problem is that I'm in the IDE trying to connect to NXT.

Any suggestions?

It works for me on one computer. This is a Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit desktop PC. The same BT adapter, I just did not install the drivers supplied by the supplier. I used the default Win 7 BT drivers. I am going to try it on my Win7 laptop in a clean boot VHD.

Update - January 12, 2010

Loaded into VHD, connected to the BT adapter, it did not install the manufacturer's drivers, but mindstorm - BT connection works.

I tried to remove the entire manufacturer driver from my main installation of Win7, but still have this problem.

People - at the risk of repeating something obvious, try running the program as an administrator.

When the NXT connected to the laptop, I saw the installed driver indicating a serial connection via Bluetooth (COM3), please refer to the image here .
