How to create an in-app purchase to upgrade from the free version to the paid version of Android

I have two versions of my application

• Paid version
• Free version

Now in the free version I have disabled some features that are available only in the paid version. So what I want, when the user clicks on any of these disabled features, a purchase window in the application should appear, and when the transaction is completed, the free version of the application should be replaced with a paid version.

Could you tell me what would be the right way to do this.

What I did was provide a link to my paid application when the user uses the dsabled functions. Thus, if they like access to these features, they can buy this paid application and immediately delete these reviews.
