Can I have Android games using the same ratings and achievements on Google Play games

I have two free games (with ads) and paid ones.

In iOS, they share leaderboards and achievements that are in the same group.

Is it possible to have one leading board for these two applications in the Google Play Games service. Should I connect to a GPG profile subscription for these two applications? Are they both on the same platform (and have two different names xxx and xxx for free)?

You can absolutely use the same leaderboards and achievements.
