We installed Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition SP1, Microsoft.net Framework version 3.5 SP1, and Crystal Reports 2008 on our local machine.
When creating a report in the IDE (.net), we drag the Crystal Report application from the toolbar and associate the crystal report with it. Now, locally on our machine, by default, links for Crystal report 10.5 are added to the design page, since Crystal Reports 10.5 is bundled with Visual Studio 2008. Therefore, we cannot integrate Crystal Report 2008 into VS 2008.
This assembly link is automatically added to our design page.

when debugging vs2008, an error will be displayed, but without debugging, if we change the assembly, as shown below, it works fine.
