An urgent connection error "neo4j-shell"

I am running 2.0.0 M06 on Mac (ML)

Neo4j is running and the web console is working fine. But when I try to connect through the Neo4j-shell, it fails. Everything was fine on Wednesday, but after trying to install Postgres (part of the MusicBrainz Neo4j project), this problem arose:

The fact is that the server is bound to localhost(127.0.0.1), and the shell tries to connect to 172.16.31.31, that is, to another network interface, and not to loopback. That is why you get here connection refused.

I ran into the same problem.

My configuration:

  • windows-7-x32
  • Neo4j-2.1.4
  • neo4j

Neo4jShell.bat. ( ). , , neo4j - "" . 1337 .

[nvstreamsvc.exe] TCP 127.0.0.1:1337 : 0 LISTENING

[Dropbox.exe] TCP 127.0.0.1:1337 : 0 LISTENING

Neo4j-Server Windows.

neo4j , , :

neo4j-shell -path /var/lib/neo4j/data/databases/graph.db -c dump > export_data.cypher -v

It will create a file called "export_data.cypher" in your current directory.

Hope this helps.
