When I launch the HDR camera application on iphone 4s (iOS7), the Xcode profiler shows the “VM: foundation” memory leak that accumulates when capturing images. This does not happen with iOS6 devices. What is a VM base error? How to manage VM leaks? Here I capture yuv frames from the camera and process them to get the necessary information to create HDR. With each capture, the value of the virtual machine: the base increases by about 10 mb for iphone4 and 2 mb for ipad2, which corresponds to their camera quality.
