Using rdp remote mac connection cannot remove azure vm after updating mavericks

Question

Getting the error "Remote Desktop Connection cannot verify the identity of the computer you want to connect to ..."

• I can connect using a Windows computer, so I went to the server from windows and turned on remote access, and also checked "allow remote desktop connection ..."

Before the upgrade, I was able to use it, but it was a few months ago, so there was no certainty that this was a problem or am I missing something?
