I observe a very strange behavior, I think it may be related to this question .
My main layout is a 1-List ListView that contains a selectable TextView. When the entire ListView (title + elements) fits smaller than on the screen, and I select the text in the selected TextView, everything works as you expected: a context action bar appears, the word I longpressed is highlighted, "select-triangle-sliders".
My problem: when the ListView does not fit on the screen, selecting the text in the selected TextView leads to the appearance of a contextual action bar and immediately disappears, leaving the word that I clicked underlined, but with the missing "triangle slider", my ListView scroll slightly down, and the application is in some strange "state" that I need to click "Back" to get out.
My questions:
1) Do I believe that automatically scrolling my ListView causes the focus of my selectable TextView to be lost and the context bar of the action to be destroyed, or is something else happening?
2) More importantly, how can I fix this?
Thanks!
