Github shows wrong time commit

This problem happens all the time and it drives me crazy. I will add, commit and push the file to github and it will show the wrong time when it was committed. Sometimes it shows that the commit happened a few days before the moment when it was actually just added, fixed and pressed (which eliminates the simple inconsistency of the time zone). Even when I initialize a new repository and immediately transfer the file, it will say that this happened 2 days ago.

If anyone knows the article or previously answered a question regarding this issue, I would really appreciate it if you would tell me this.

Double check the system clock. The GitHub user interface shows the timestamp of the commits themselves that git reads from the system when you commit.

A quick way to check this is to make a new commit, then make git logand check if the time and date match your system settings.
