Updating .app using Sparkle with a different package identifier

I use Sparkle to update the application from 0.9.2to 1.0.0.

In the new update, I changed CFBundleIdentifierin MyApp.appfrom com.MyCompany.MyAppto au.com.MyCompany.MyApp.

When I test the download of this update (via Sparkle, which is built into MyApp.app), it downloads the update and then gives me a window with this message:

An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later.

Is there any other way, besides the fact that users reinstall the application so that Sparkle recognizes the old one CFBundleIdentifierand updates it to the new one?
