Google Glass and BLE (Bluetooth 4.0, BluetoothSmart)

Does the Google Glass SDK (GDK) support BLE? I would like to connect and communicate with the Bluegiga BLE113 module.

Yes! It was added with an upgrade to Kit Kat in XE16.

The request was closed as fixed when the release was pushed.

According to this article with the FCC, yes, it is. However, Android 4.0.4 does not support BLE, so if Glass Team does not build a BLE library for Glass, no, that’s not the case. I would suggest testing (if you have Glass). If not, I can check to see if you have a way.
