Database switching in spring petclinic

I am trying to switch from hsql to MySQL in an application for a sample spring sample . Can someone show me what I'm doing wrong?

I followed the instructions in the file petclinic_db_setup_mysql.txt and confirmed that the database was created correctly in mysql, but I get the following error when I try to run the application on tomcat 7 from eclipse:

I know this a bit later, but I also ran into this problem with Spring's "pet pattern" and found a solution for it.

To make the project work with MySQL, follow these steps:

1 - In pom.xml uncomment lines 196-200 (to enable the MySQL driver)

  <version>${mysql-driver.version}</version>
</dependency>

2 - In data-acccess.properties, change lines 8-9 as shown below:

jdbc.initLocation=classpath:db/mysql/initDB.sql 
jdbc.dataLocation=classpath:db/mysql/populateDB.sql

... then comment lines 16 - 22

... and a split of lines 28 - 34 (excluding line 33)

It should be!
