I was looking at github examples for Google Glass, and my code doesn't really look completely different. With the exception of running the usual TextView, my code should theoretically work. My activity code:
com.helloglass package
import android.os.Bundle; import android.app.Activity;
public class MainActivity extends Activity {
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
}
}
My layout
<FrameLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:paddingBottom="@dimen/activity_vertical_margin"
android:paddingLeft="@dimen/activity_horizontal_margin"
android:paddingRight="@dimen/activity_horizontal_margin"
android:paddingTop="@dimen/activity_vertical_margin" >
<TextView
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="Hello World"/>
</FrameLayout>
And my manifest
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
package="com.helloglass"
android:versionCode="1"
android:versionName="1.0" >
<uses-sdk
android:minSdkVersion="15"
android:targetSdkVersion="15" />
<application
android:allowBackup="true"
android:icon="@drawable/ic_launcher"
android:label="@string/app_name" >
<activity
android:name="com.helloglass.MainActivity"
android:label="@string/app_name_hello"
android:enabled="true" >
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
</intent-filter>
</activity>
</application>
</manifest>
Now all I want to do is just see the pop-up damn view, but I keep getting this error
[2013-11-29 14:04:49 - Dex Loader] Unable to execute dex: java.nio.BufferOverflowException. Check the Eclipse log for stack trace.
