Intellij - Mercury Slow

Question

You are having performance issues with hg in Intellij Idea (I use 12+).

Examples:

-refreshing VCS takes more than 20 minutes (even if you click 2 times in a row, it takes an additional 800 MB of RAM)

-diff tool opens for about 5 seconds (for example, when viewing incoming changes) - when I use git, it opens instantly.

I tried using different VCS settings, but nothing helps.
