Android system icons Translucent

Question

The default android.R.drawable.ic_menu_deleteis translucent, so the color of the action bar will be displayed through the icon.

If I wanted the icon to ic_menu_deletebe solid white to fit my other icons, is there any way to do this other than image editing software?

You can create a CustomDrawable that would draw material without transparency, but that sounds a lot more to me than choosing an icon and loading for an Android studio .
