Soundcloud HTML5 widget does not play on mobile devices

Starting today, we notice a problem when our HTML 5 SoundCloud widget does not play on most iPhone and Android mobile phones (Nexus 4, 7, etc.).

I created a basic example using the SC embedplate template from the website:

Works fine on my laptop, but when you visit this URL from iPhone / Nexus 4, etc., it doesn't play sound. When I debug mobile clients, I see the following URL hanging:

No JS errors. widget.play () calls the call. But since the mp3 stream hangs, the music does not play, and the player freezes.

Any ideas?
