Dives lose focus on google glass

When you use glassware based on live maps, such as timer or compass samples, the live map will be the first thing you see as soon as you wake up the glass after turning off the screen. In other words, you will see a live map as soon as you turn on the screen if it is focused when the screen is off.

Is there a way to reproduce this dive behavior? I do not want users to leave the dive unless they clearly fail. I also do not want to use wakelock to save the screen on ala spellista.

This really works as intended: if you want the screen to time out while the user is diving into your dive, you have to take care of this programmatically.

In addition, you can also use both a dive and LiveCard, and LiveCard is a window for your dive that is launched by the user.
