Your chef_server_url may be misconfigured

When I do knife client listin the server output, this is the identifier of the client-chef instance, the problem here is that the client cannot pull recipes from the server.

When I came across this in the past, it was due to a DNS problem when a new computer could not solve ChefServer. For AWS / EC2, make sure that the default DNS server that DHCP runs correctly resolves your domain name to your chefserver.example.com.
