I am experimenting with OpenDolphin after some time, being interested in the concept, I am at the stage of determining requirements with some friends for the project that we want to do, hoping to get some money from it. This project concept will be based on the server / multiple client model, where we want the server to have most of the logic, we have average experience for a couple of years, each of which performs java projects, but not something big or exactly with tools latests, so we learned a little about the gradle installation build process, and after starting this project, we are now confronted with tons of demonstrations of groovy projects.
And I try my best to get my friends interested in the library, because they believe that using what we know best is a better option than trying to understand a library that would mean learning a new language as soon as possible (we are not so lazy but there are people who help us as consultants / partners, and we are afraid that if we do not start producing something, we will lose support [we do not earn anything from this, but without them, as “productowners”, we did not know what market needs exactly]).
I watched a few videos and videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z54hEJvpZys
surprisingly, I think this is exactly what we need.
I would like to know, maybe there is an example / tutorial in java, maybe a screencast, blog or a registered webinar on how to make a simple application where the server communicates with the port and several java clients update the value and send a couple of commands .
I don’t know something like starting the server, it sets the default value to a variable, the client connects and sees the value, the second client connects it sees the value, and the command is sent to the server to “erase”, and both clients see that it is the erased server and the other command sent by default, and the server sets the default variable.
I am not asking for this specific example, but something that I can read to make it this way.
