I come to PyCharm from Eclipse and it annoys me how I switch between open files in the editor.
In Eclipse, I had a hotkey set up to open the previous editor. A menu appears with the files in the order in which most of them were viewed. If I quickly delete the key, it will switch to the last viewed file. No matter what I recently worked for, it would always be easily accessible.
In PyCharm, the files are listed in an editor in seemingly random order. Control + left (or right) will lead you to the next file in the list, which may be next to a file that is not connected in any way. I can use the mouse to select a file, but I'm not used to it, and it makes me stop and think about what the file name is, what module it was, etc.
A natural, fast, efficient, minimal thought is what I'm looking for to navigate between open files in the PyCharm editor. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?
Thanks!
