Implement Facebook login with UiLifecycleHelper

I have MainActivityand a LoginActivity. I created a superclass FacebookActivityto save the object UiLifecycleHelperand all overriding methods:

Mainactivity

public class MainActivity extends FacebookActivity  {

        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.main_activity);
    }

LoginActivity (basically a screensaver with a facebook login button):

I thought it would be nice that all activity classes inherit from FacebookActivityin this way, I will have one code that handles all session management.

Unfortunately, this does not work very well, one example is when I exit through MainActivity. I get a loop:

  • onSessionStateChange Event listener is starting as I cleared the session
  • LoginActivity launched
  • FacebookActivity.onCreate() called from LoginActivity.onCreate()
  • onSessionStateChange called again and returns to 2
