Android App - Link to Chrome Extension

Question

I’m looking for some tips on how to set up an Android app with the Chrome extension where the user signs up with a Google account. I prefer to avoid the intermediate server and rely on the existing service bus.

I suggested that Google Cloud Messaging would comply with the bill, as it can be implemented in both Android and Chrome, but it does not seem to allow direct communication without a third-party server.
