FIX Engine and Scala: an alternative to QuickfixJ?

Question

Pretty general question, I know, but after searching on Google I could find any “final” answer, so here I ask.

Using Scala, what option do I have when it comes to the FIX protocol?

In Java, I have worked with QuickfixJ before, but I was wondering if there are any "native" alternatives? Or, in the worst case, some QuickFixJ DSL files or overlay for Scala?
