Bootstrap 3.0 affix does not work when the body has overflow-x: hidden

Question

I don't know why, but when you have the CSS style overflow-x:hiddenin the body element, the affix plugin does not work. He simply refuses to switch between affix, affix top and affix bottom.

I assume that he was not able to detect or measure the position of the scroll, but I have no idea why it overflow-x:hiddenmight cause this.

Unfortunately, I need to overflow-x:hidden, so removing it is not a good job.

Any ideas on how / where to look?
