I access some source code managed on Windows through "MKS Source Integrity" (proprietary VCS, the predecessor of "Intexity MKS").
How do I know in which edition the last lines of the source code have been changed? This function is called "blame" or "annotate" in various ways depending on the VCS.
Update (May 21, 2014):
I have been using version 7.3e since 1999; I think that MKS made big changes from version 8 in 2000, so later versions have little similarity and the upgrade path is difficult.
