Are there any security risks associated with downloading web fonts?
Our corporate IE policy prohibits the downloading of web fonts. I would like to change this policy, but I cannot find solid information about what security risks are.
Are web fonts actually installed on a PC, or are they just processed and displayed by a browser? If the latter, I do not understand why this would be more risky than processing any other web resource (images, js files, etc.).
