I am developing a PhoneGap application using the Google Maps API. I created high-resolution versions of a number of my graphic elements to display on higher-resolution screens that look very beautiful, but the map tiles themselves are very small and blurry. Card tiles on our mobile website, which are built essentially from the same code, are much clearer and look better. (See here for a full-size comparison.)
