I am trying to develop a network diagram (computer) based on HTML / JS. "By this I mean boxes connected to other boxes, and, more importantly, boxes contained inside the borders of other fields.
Simplified Usage Example - To Explain Layout Requirements
A use case is a VPC (huge box) with AZ inside (2 or 3 large boxes stacked next to each other) and subnets inside each of them (boxes stacked on top of each other) and EC2 inside (lots of small boxes next to each other )

While I tried several methods (see below), I did not find a suitable layout for my diagram, and I wonder how my needs are so unique that I need to collapse myself.
