I am using Xamarin (mono 3.2.5) on OSX to create a C # console application that connects to the websocket blockchain.info stream. I turned on the socketio4net library from NuGet and thought that I was following the specifications correctly, but I'm a little new to socket.io connections in general, so please correct me for what I am doing wrong. I get an error immediately after calling socket.Connect () method below.
I created several event handlers, for example:
