Do not mark this as a duplicate. Let me explain what happened and tell me what I did. So here is my problem. When I open Android Studio, it gives me this error:
TCP / IP http://i39.tinypic.com/2aah576.png
So, I went to the windows firewall settings. Here is what I have:
Windows Firewall http://i44.tinypic.com/sma5xl.png
As you can see, the firewall is turned off. Then I went to my antivirus program and turned off the settings:
Norton Firewall http://i42.tinypic.com/13zznm9.png
As you can see here, I disabled Smart Firewall. Then I reopened Android Studio. I have the same error too.
TCP / IP http://i39.tinypic.com/2aah576.png
I clicked OK and moved on. Then Android Studio booted and that’s it. After that, ADB started the download. This is where the real mistake happens.
ADB Error http://i40.tinypic.com/2h5v59i.png
I also tried it with Eclipse, but it also says that ADB is not responding. Android Studio has been working fine for the last month or so. I have never received these error messages or warnings with Android Studio before, so for me this is pretty new.
Here is what I tried:
- In cmd,,
adb kill-serverI hit the restart button in the ADB message not responding - Reboot the computer.
- Turning USB debugging on and off on my Nexus 5
So, I really cannot find a solution to this. Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
