How to select text in PDF?

Question

I am developing a new feature for my program. This function is able to write PDF files in a simple way, creating a simple text file with some codes of the PDF standard.

I am trying to understand how this works, but my first problem is how to apply bold on some line of my document.

I have already downloaded the PDF link reference, but I haven’t found anything about it.

Any idea?
