Windows Phone 8 emulator debugging error: "the specified communication resource (port) is already in use by another application"

Error:

The specified communication resource (port) is already in use by another application

I debugged the application and kept the same error. I tried everything:

  • Project Deloy → Fail
  • Reset phone → Fail
  • Removing% user% \ AppData \ Local \ Microsoft \ Phone Tools \ CoreCon → Fail

This is worse.

I had this problem before, restarting Visual Studio fixed the problem. Also, make sure your Visual Studio is updated to the latest version.

Rebooting VS should help. Also make sure that you do not run multiple projects at the same time.
