Is there a way to vibrate less than 1 millisecond on Android?

Vibrate.vibrate takes a long value, so the minimum is 1 millisecond. Is there a custom interface or something that I can do to get shorter deadlines?

Personally, I doubt that the hardware is as accurate as its api does (to make apis more reliable in the future and more stable, they are often given capabilities and accuracy that have not yet been implemented in hardware).
