Android snippet hides under the action bar

Question

There was a strange problem. The content of the fragment hidden under the action bar. Its a pretty simple drawer plan and fragment.

New for android and don't know if this is so. I used the stock only for this, as you can see below. But that doesn’t sound right to me ... please throw some light where I am wrong. Thanks at Advance.

This is normal and expected behavior if you set FEATURE_ACTION_BAR_OVERLAY( android:windowActionBarOverlay). Here is the documentation
